Believing is not Knowing

With each passing year we gain more and more knowledge about the world around us that allows us to discard falsehoods, such as the earth being the center of the universe and the world being a square. At one point we thought Vampires, Witches, & Lycans controlled our woods and people’s beliefs were so strong that they would kill a woman if she was suspected to be a witch. To think is to believe while to know is the truth. More often than not, our beliefs don’t  match up with the truth. The thing that stomps me about the Belief versus Knowing battle is that people seem to think they are one single organism operating in sync with each other....
